My Own Mr. Darcy Review

Elizabeth Barrett is appropriately named after the character Lizzie Bennett from Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice. As a teen she watches P&P with her mother and best friend. Elizabeth enters into the delightful world of Austen and is then determined to find her own Mr. Darcy. Many years later, still no such luck.  Her friend insists she give up this fantasy and begins dating Chad.  Shortly after, an amazing thing happens. She meets the man of her dreams, Matt aka: Mr. Darcy in her eyes. Now having to decide between fantasy and reality, she starts to realize that Chad is maybe not her Mr. Darcy but perhaps she has been dreaming the wrong dream.

Sweet, fun and heart warming are all perfect descriptions for this story.  Although predictable for a Jane Austen fan like myself, it is a wonderful spin off that I enjoyed from start to finish. At moments I laughed, felt sad and yet always connected to the characters and the story.  The dialogue is a real plus as it really drew me in.  Loved the characters and the overall story was entertaining and a clean romance worth the Jane Austen influenced title.
